​What is ADESJO?
Based in the mountainous province of San José de Ocoa in the Dominican Republic, ADESJO (Association for the Development of San José de Ocoa) is a non-profit organization that is committed to supporting the men and women of its communities as they strive and struggle to improve their quality of life.
We work hard to improve the conditions of the lives of the most impoverished inhabitants of our province. Our work is strongly based on the essential participation of the members of each community that we work in, so that each community member can come to recognize their calling to become agents of change and creating their own destiny.
